Indeed, not yet. A recent posting on another Mac site - Filemaker is not compatible with Leopard OS 10.5. Filemaker, a subsidiary of Apple? "Sorry, but your new iPod isn't compatible with the new iTunes, we're working on it." "But, gee, isn't the interface keen?"
Something is seriously wrong in Appleland. Maybe the old Apple common sense has fallen into the Sea of Holes. That or the company has lost its way in the Sea of Green.
"H is for help...."
Congrats, Chris! I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?

Their source says the Mini will be renamed the Nano. You been holdin' out on us? : )
Thank you, Beeblebrox, you illustrated my point with not one but two, whiny retorts. My question was an earnest one: if something troubles one so, why pursue it? Masochism?
I use Macs and am interested in how to use them better. That interest doesn't mean I have any closer attachment to that tool than to a shovel or a rake. I have no interest in or opinion about Windows machines and do not read about them. As I said, I've never used one.
I didn't disagree with your position on Apple or Mac or any other type of zealot. My observation was about this site and you. As noted on this site, you have the largest number of comments posted (1763). How many of them are useful, encouraging, creative, positive, or thought provoking?
You seem to have become what you abhor most.
Good to see an encouraging piece about the future of the Mini given the ones about its imminent demise. I've got a G4 and an Intel, both hooked to TV's. A definite Media Center. Improved graphics capabilities might add the possibility of Game Console if Apple were interested.
A good, objective, useful article. I hope Apple Matters features more of these in the future.
Lately, there's been a series of fluff articles that weren't very useful or thought provoking.
I've been on Apple machines for 17 years (pre-press) and have never used a Windows machine so I can relate to number 1, albeit in a reverse fashion. I tend to look at the Mac like I do any tool. If it works, I use it. If I see someone struggling with a job and can suggest a tool that works, I do it. Looking at it as a tool, I never had a home computer until two years ago (tool = work).
Off topic. I registered today for these comments and to say something about the least appealing aspect of this site - whining. I'm not speaking of the occasionally, upset commenter. Rather, the chronic, whining of the writer, Beeblebrox.
I got it: you have issues with Apple and zealot, Apple fanatics. As such, why do you torture yourself, by reading anything on a site with Apple in the name?
From the earlier, profile article about you, it would seem that you're a creative person who could provide some constructive input to Mac/Apple users.
Return of the Old Apple? Not Yet.
